SECONDARY SCHOOL SPORT
Representative Sport
Students at Georges River Grammar are granted a pathway for representative sport via NASSA (New Anglican Schools Sports Association). From NASSA, students progress through to AICES (Association of Independent Co-educational Schools), then CIS at State Championships and finally the All Schools Team, which competes at the National Championships. A number of students from Georges River Grammar have followed this pathway to NSW and Australian representation.
Inter-school Sport
Georges River Grammar is an active participant in both SWISSA (South Western Independent Schools Sports Association) and NASSA (New Anglican Schools Sports Association), and competes against associated schools on Sports afternoons and in Gala Days throughout the year.
Afternoon sport: Thursday's and Tuesday's
Secondary afternoon sport is conducted in year groups on varying days. Years 7 and 10 on Tuesday, Years 8 and 9 on Thursday. The school offers a range of sports such as: Tennis, Squash, Oz-tag, SWISSA Sport (students in Years 7 and 10 compete against other schools), Aerobics, school sports, Golf & Bowling.
